Visit to the Cotswold Canals by members of ARCABE (Accociation for the reopening of the Canal du Berry)
At the end of April 2010 two members of a French canal restoration group (ARCABE) visited various sections of the Cotswold Canals to see CCT progress and discuss how both canal societies could mutually benefit from a link between them.
There was press coverage in Stroud and a BBC TV news item on Monday 26 April showing the cermonial mixing of water from the Canal du Berry into Wallbridge Lock.
See the ARCABE website and the CCT websites.
