View up the Severn from Sharpness
Taken from a Piper warrior plane in May 2009

This photograph was taken during an hour long flight from Kemble airfield in May of this year (2009). We headed west towards the rivers (Severn and Wye) and passed between them (see photo), the pilot turned north up the Chepstow side which was when I took the picture of Sharpness, and the Purton hulks. Avoiding Berkley which is a 'no fly' zone
we turned east just south of Gloucester and headed inland to find my village of Cranham before returning to Kemble for lunch.
A good view of the entrance to the Sharpness docks and the sand banks of the Severn.
