Do you recognize these names?

Help needed to trace family history

I'm trying to find out how I trace family that were in the barge side of life. The names I'm trying to trace are Banks' and Jackson. My Great great great grandfather was Thomas Jackson and his son was Job. I think it has something to do with coal as his marriage lines say coalman but the census says bargeman.

The Banks' side is also Bargemen. Ann Banks married Thomas Jackson about 1834 and her father was Thomas.

Can anyone help?
