Welcome to the website of the Junction Heritage Project.  Here you will find an eclectic mix of photos, facts, memories and stories about the places linked by the waterways that meet at the Junction, Saul, Gloucestershire. The waterways referred to, take us from the River Severn to the Gloucester to Sharpness Ship Canal. At Saul there is the junction of the G & S with the Stroudwater Navigation, currently undergoing restoration. The Stroudwater takes us to Wallbridge, Stroud where it will soon be possible to lock into the Thames and Severn Canal, also undergoing restoration.
